Description

In this story by DC writer Jack C. Harris, an ugly duckling goes to extreme lengths to become her high school's beautiful swan, ultimately reaping disaster. On these pages, a magical facial creme causes her face to swing ever more severely from beauty to horror with each new application. Finally, she splits into two separate beings entirely!

Morrow does some very nice work with the Craftint on page 6, including shadow and clothing folds overlying the patterns. Once again, certain markers have faded more than others.

It really wants the male audience to hate Cheryl making friendzoned guy solve the problem. At this point, we're rooting for something bad to happen. The art and focus by Morrow shows with the many faces sequence and the build up gets us to a well earned horror reveal!
