Description

Astonishing X-Men is by far one of the my favorite X-Men runs of all time. The story, the art, and the witty banter are all great memories when I was reading this just after university. I always remember this page because of how the Thing mocked Wolverine as Canadian (I'm also from the Great White North). I loved Whedon's treatment of Cyclops' character as a true leader of the X-Men throughout the series. There were so many good Cyclops moments in this story and John Cassaday drew Cyclops perfectly, especially that bottom corner panel.

I'm incredibly happy to own this piece and equally proud to share this in gallery.

A seminal series for the X-Men as it changed a lot of the status quo that bled into the other titles. Cyclops checking out Sue with his wandering eye! This page with both FF and X-Men is stellar Cassaday!
