Description

Vampi and Pendragon try to thumb a ride in the American Southwest, only to find that their would-be chauffeur is a monster who knows about the bounty on their heads. Oh well, nothing a claw to the throat won't fix. Check out that skull on his shifter column, the scaly seat, and the bony trim of the dashboard!

Aldrin "Buzz" Aw was the main artist on this series, but he needed help on this issue, so Kevin Sharpe penciled half of the pages. The overall art style of the book is very "90s Image," with loads of crosshatching, less evident on this page than on many. The coloring shows off all the new hues available with 90s digital techniques that weren't part of the 64 color set of previous generations. The wording is all stickers. The bottom tier of the page has a wavy warp from water damage, more visible on the back than the front thankfully.

It was definitely 90's bad girl and this Harris Comics version played up more horror and sex appeal for the times!
