Having the creepy looking silhouette of the Bounty Hunter really drives the suspense on this cover, especially sicne it makes you wonder if he's actually the original Western Ghost Rider! Great stuff, especially with Layton's inks!
Wow, that's a classic one!
Incredible!! Congrats on the pickup!
Thrilling pick up!
Great one as the Bounty Hunter resembles the old western Ghost Rider, thus symbolic of the past trying to catch up with the present. The addition fo the black cat is pretty cool as a third point of interest to keep the eyes scanning around as opposed to just looking in a line across.
Fantastic cover Jared!
Fantastic cover. It's radiating with energy and tension. Love it!
Spectacular cover, prime Ghost Rider image mirrors his 1st app Marvel Spotlight #5 cover.
Mmmmmm... cold canned beans.
That's superb! Amazing issue! I love it!!!!!
Laytons inks/Finishes? are outstanding - proving that the right inker Robbins' covers like this were outstanding.
Fantastic cover ! Even the signs in the bottle are amazing !
Congrats
Layton smooths out Robbins' pencils, especially on the Ghost Rider figure, but doesn't completely overpower his highly stylized look on the Bounty Hunter, horse and, yes, that wonderful cat that he threw in there.
I love the layout, the action and the detail displayed on this cover! I like how the artists put their names on the bottle. The frightened cat is the cherry on top.
Great cover!
A sensational cover Jared and a great pick-up from your childhood, I remember mine as well, congrats !
This is AWESOME Jarod! Congrats!
Bob bring a nice feel to Robbin's pencils....who when I was a Kid, I did not like FR at all....now I appreciate his work.
Great story to a great piece.
Great cover. I LOVE the black cat!
Yowza! What a jawdropping Ghost Rider cover! Love this scene of the Ghost Rider on his Hellcycle racing through the night to escape the man who calls himself the Bounty Hunter! What the Bounty Hunter wants with him, Johnny Blaze doesn't know but he isn't planning to hang around to find out. Pulse-pounding excitement on this cover, penciled by Frank Robbins and inked by Bob Layton. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
