This piece was loaned and toured for four years with the Garth Williams: Illustrator of the Century Exhibit

The exhibit was curated by Leonard Marcus, organized and toured by the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature.

GARTH WILLIAMS: Illustrator of the Century, which originated at the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature, during the summer of 2017, and toured the country for four years, ending during Covid. The exhibit was the most comprehensive retrospective ever assembled of the illustrator of classics as Charlotte’s Web, Mister Dog, the Little House Books of Laura Ingalls Wilder, and among others.
