Description

I remember picking up the Xmen annual featuring Executioner's first appearance as a teenager from a spinner rack at Rite Aid and was shocked how he ran thru Colossus in the final panel. Fast forward 31 years later, it was cool to see him featured in Xmen 97. I like his costume design.
Reached out to Karl for this piece @wondercon to add to the rogue gallery.

They are running through storylines so quickly like trying to catch us up to modern storylines! It's like every episode is can't miss TV. They designed this costume like they were still in the 90's with the trenchcoat look, big kneepads, and of course...big pouches!

Congrats on tracking it down before anyone else did, John. He must've made his first appearance soon after I stopped reading and collecting though, because he doesn't look familiar at all and the only Executioner I know at Marvel is also knows as Skurge, who died by self-sacrifice during the Simonson Thor run. Anmyway, whoever he is, I'm glad you got this one!
