Jeff Jones Young Woman Statue IDYL

Jeff Jones "Young Woman" Limited Edition Statue (Jeff Jones, 1976). There were three distinct castings of this 13" tall "Yong Woman" sculpture by Jones. The first was a group of approximately 10, cast in plaster in 1970, that Jones gave to various individuals to advertise his capabilities, or as gifts of gratitude. These were all signed by Jeff in ballpoint pen. The second casting, also from 1970, was an edition of approximately 100 cast in Vatican Stone (less brittle and more durable than plaster), and were also signed by Jones. This statue was part of the third and final casting, also in Vatican Stone and produced in 1976. Marketed by Robert Weiner via his TKII imprint, this was also an edition of 100, but they were not signed. All versions were cast and hand-finished by Jones himself. In very good condition with some small cracking around the base of the legs as is typical in these.
