Absolutely STUNNING! Love the use of color in the face as a callback but ADORE the use of cooler colors in the hands to underline the horror tone!

I completely forgot to talk about the coloring connecting the clock to the smiley face pin. Thanks for pointing it out and the comment! It was a lot of fun being the third wheel to you and Mike :)

Thank you, James! It was definitely a new thing for me to talk out loud about comic art. Only person who generally sees this stuff is my wife and she is NOT interested lol :)

Tik Toc!  The clock strikes midnight for issue 12 and Higgins' blood soaked red over a yellow circle comes full circle with the cover of issue 1's yellow smiley face button with just a drip of red.

Yeah, it's really hard to screw up picking something up from Watchmen. There are no bad choices. Thanks for the comment, Toni!

Man, Andrew, you just went on the proverbial CAF RUN!  This and the and the 2 other posts...whew.  Here, the culmination of one character's plan.  Congrats!

Haha, thank you :) Still have been too lazy to post the rest from the interview. I gotta get around to that next week!

Wow. Cool colors from Watchmen #12. It's funny but you get a much clearer idea of the cover from the color pages than from the B&W original inks. Color was so integral to the Watchman comics that it is slightly disconcerting to look at the original art and usual, it's the other way around. So serious congratulations on picking up a little piece of the magic that was the Watchmen.

Thanks, Bill! Higgins absolutely left his mark on this story. I can't praise him enough as evident with the caf episode.
