Description
Here's another fantastic piece by Carlos Magno! He has been doing some amazing work lately, and this is another example! I love the level of detail that he puts into his art, and how much he packs in a page. In here you can see Cap and the Howling Commandoes about to get attacked by werewolves! Will they turn Cap into Capwolf??? Carlos Magno does his own pencils and inks, but he usually does his inks on a separate piece, so I always love getting both! And the inks on this page really allow you to appreciate the detail he put in every single part of the page, from the trees, to the detail on the werewolves, to all the howling commandoes!

That is beautifully detailed and I love how Cap's shield is popping out, yet the shield is not placed in the foreground. Very unique and makes Cap stand out in the middleground. Love it!

Looks like an editor at Marvel found a copy of Dog Soldiers and decided Cap and the Comandoes would fit right into the storyline!  Magno is impressive as heck as he's bascially redrawn this cover in pen and ink!  Every level of depth defined by the line density instead of wash.

The fine little bits of tiny detail are really pretty. Nice balancing of blacks as well!
