Nothing says pure unadulterated fun like flying with scissors.

So great! This was during the movie era and Superman was riding a wave of popularity! Mr. Mxyzptlk was pretty popular matching wits with Superman and probably has a lot of fans being one of the most entertaining "foes" in the line up. Delbo and Trapiani probably had this strip seen by more people than read the comic book.

Superman better not run with those scissors. Very dangerous! Haha! Fantastic Supey/Myxy strip. Delbo and Trapani make a great team.

Lol. "Bored where I am but just LOVE I can mess with a super man in this dimension." Fun stuff, Jimmy, and glad to see you with a CAF post return! Congrats!

When I was kid, my favorite Superman villain was Mr. Mxyzptlk! I loved all the wierd and wacky pranks he used to play on Superman. As a grown man, I find that I'm a lot less amused by him than I was. It seems to me that Superman was always being played for a fool by the powers at DC and I'm not sure that's the best way to write stories about the most powerful man on Earth. Still, these are two really well drawn and nicely laid out comic strips that really do capture the dynamic between the Man of Steel and the Man of Mirth.
