Sandman - The Awakening page - by Sam Kieth (1989).

I am hereby selling page 33 (page 35 in some editions) from the first Sandman story, "Preludes & Nocturnes," illustrated by Sam Kieth, in 1989. Kieth was the first artist of this series and created and defined the visual identity of Sandman.

This is "the awakening"-page, following Sandman's escape from captivity! In this original, we witness the awakening of, among others, Unity Kinkaid; the grandmother of Rose Walker, and the one-time fated harbinger of The Dreaming's destruction. The page is undamaged. It features many annotations in the margins (by Sam Kieth). A beautiful piece!
