Description

We all have a story about some piece of OA that we thought we had more time to buy. Then we go back to actually purchase it and you realize your too late. It's gone.

One of the 2023 Comic Art Live events I almost pulled the trigger on a Mockingbird cover. But it wasn't the cover to #8 which caused a lot of people to lose their damn minds and might have been part of the reason the series was cancelled. I forgot about it and then a few months later I went back and realized it was gone. Oops.

So we fast forward to earlier this year and my second favorite cover of the series is up for auction. I wasn't going to repeat my mistake! It cost a little more then I expected it to go for but still totally worth it!

A very James Bond-esque scene that has graced the cover to the first issue as well as the TPB. Thank you Ed M. for being willing to let go of such a grail piece!

While number 8 makes a statement, this one by Jones makes one too with a retro paperback / movie poster illustration design! Action by land, air, and sea with car chases, hand to hand fighting, and ballistic missles! Plus sexy babes (All Mockingbird)!
