Item description: 2020, Harley hoists a Smiley-bomb while her hyenas relax ComicLink Comments: This highly detailed, cover-quality Nick Bradshaw illustration features a contemporary-style Harley Quinn with her beloved hyenas, Bud and Lou, and of course, a giant happyface-adored bomb. It seems likely that this piece was intended as a cover, given its layout and high level of finish, but for some reason was not used. With the way things go now, maybe it will find publication in the future! Regardless, it is a great example of Bradshaw's popular recent work, on one of the most widely collected characters in comics. About Harley Quinn Harley Quinn began life in the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series in 1992 as a sidekick of the Joker. She was introduced into comic books soon after starting with Batman Adventures #12, now one of the most in-demand comics of its era. When the young fans of the cartoon series grew up, they turned Harley into one of the biggest characters in all of comics in recent years. In 2016 the character was introduced to movie audiences in the blockbuster movie, Suicide Squad, played by the beautiful Margot Robbie. Robbie is once again playing Harley in the lead role in the film Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). The film is currently in theaters and has had overwhelmingly positive reviews. About the Artist Nick Bradshaw is a rising industry star with a style that has drawn comparisons to Art Adams and J.
