It's a fantastic piece for a fan of the comic or the very successful animated series. Ottley's art was consistently strong over the 14 years that he illustrated the series and lately, his work is gaining well-deserved attention.

Invincible was a success in comic book circles during its 15-year (2003-2018), 144-issue run, but it has become a huge sensation following the high quality animated adaptation which began running on the Amazon Prime streaming service this year. With more seasons already in the works, the demand for Invincible artwork is stronger than when the title was still running.

Ryan Ottley drew Invincible for 14 years of its 15 years of publication and this cover is a superb demonstration of the high level of quality he brought to the title. With the success of the new Invincible animated streaming service, the collected editions of the comic book have become huge sellers, widening the appreciation for the great work Ottley did on the long-running series.

About Invincible
Invincible was writer Robert Kirkman's and artist Ryan Ottley's long-running superhero series that launched in 2003 and concluded in 2018 after 144 issues. It followed the adventures of Mark Grayson, a teenage superhero who matures into young adulthood over the course of the series. He exists in a twisted superhero world where his secretly evil father is a Superman-like figure named Omni-Man. Ottley worked on 127 issues of the 144 Issue run. The Invincible streaming series, a mature animated show, premiered in March on Amazon Prime and has been a huge hit, receiving a two-year renewal recently. Steven Yeun (also Glenn on The Walking Dead) is the voice of Invincible, leading an all-star cast including J.K.Simmons as Omni-Man, Sandra Oh as mom and Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve.

About the Artist
Ryan Ottley was discovered by Robert Kirkman and took over the art on Invincible starting with #8 and worked on the title for 14 years, illustrating 127 issues of the 144 Issue run. He then moved on to become the primary artist on Amazing Spider-Man from 2018 to 2020.
