I don't even know where to start with this one! Chris Stevens has been crafting amazing commissions. His level of detail and precision is unparalleled. You could get lost for hours just staring at all the lines - perfectly spaced to create the tones. When I commissioned this, I really struggled with whether to choose black & white or colored, since both are amazing. I ultimately settled on black & white because I was so impressed by his mastery of creating depth and tone with just lines.

I was lucky enough to spend some time with Chris at OAX2024 and learn more about his process. He is the nicest guy! I would definitely recommend commissioning him if you get an opportunity. Thanks to Chris for the amazing commission, and Felix for putting this together!

Fantastic in the Stevens' illustration style as he brings an immense control of line density to define shapes. It stands out because of the different textures achieved that give mass and form to Carrie, Batman, and the gargoyle. Great design element to have the cape cut right in the middle of the moon with the Bat Symbol.

Fantatsic piece! Chris' color work is great, but I love seeing all the little details he adds to his black and white pieces.
