Description
Question: What can modern women do? All kinds of things, says Philadelphia artist Edwin Frank Bayha (1880-1937). He contributed numerous illustrations to magazines from Scientific American to Ladies Home Journal in the first third of the Twentieth Century. This seems like one of the "decorations" that would have accompanied an article therein. Most of the faces are at a three-quarter angle, more difficult to render than a profile shot.

I'm sure the article would be just as much an eye opener back in 1913 about life and culture as the Women's Sufferage movement parade was that year.
