Masters of the Universe #14 cover by Tom Morgan & Tom Palmer (Marvel 1988)

I was a huge fan of He-man and the Masters of the Universe in the '80s, and watched the cartoons after school daily and read the comics. So when I came across this one I had to get it. Now the Marvel series was officially cancelled after issue 13, but issue #14 was already started and this cover was completed prior to the cancellation. But what an epic cover image of He-man, defending Castle Grayskull from an attacking horde!

Tom Morgan and Tom Palmer Masters of the Universe #14 Unpublished Cover Illustration Original Art (Marvel, c. 1986). He-Man prepares to protect Castle Grayskull, his home fortress located on the planet Eternia, in this unpublished cover for the "Return of Skeletor" story (the series was canceled after issue 13). This piece has an image area of 10" x 11.5". The title and top dressing are stat paste-ups, there is light toning, with edge and handling wear. The date in the margin notes this was for 1986 and bottom date shows 1988. In Excellent condition.
