DescriptionThis one is special, used to own this piece and I had to sell it almost 14 years ago. This was the last piece I had available to sell due to financial difficulties which was heartbreaking. The Demon is one of my favorite Jack Kirby creations and of course Byrne is my favorite artist so this piece was high on my list of favorites. Here you have Morgan Le Fay possessing Etrigan with the Philosopher's Stone setting him loose to attack Wonder Woman. Big thanks to a member of CAF for making this one available for sale who happened to be the collector I sold it to so many years ago.Year Published: 1996 Social/Sharing |

Always good bumping into you at these East Coast cons and congrats on an excellent [return] pick-up --really one of the best pieces from that WW series!

What an awesome commission from John Byrne! Love this whoile idea of Morgan Le Fay possessing Etrigan and sending him out to battle Wonder Woman! Byrne obviously liked the idea as well, considering how much energy he poured into drawing this. Morgan Le Fay is drawn exquisitely, Byrne captured both her beauty and her villainy. Byrne also poured a ton of energy into capturing Etrigan. The demon is rendered with a great love for the character. It's a splendid commission, executed beautifully. Congratulations for getting it back!
