Superwest e' una invenzione del geniale Mattioli in cui le allegre colorazioni pop vengono combinate con il gusto per l'umorismo demenziale ed abbondanti concessioni allo splatter, prendendo spunto dai supereoi in costume (in particolare da Superman).
Questa pagina fa parte dell'ultima storia di questo particolare supereroe; venne pubblicata per la prima volta in Francia sulla rivista L'Echo de Savanes e solo successivamente in Itala su Comic Art.
La raccolta integrale delle storie di Superwest e' stata pubblicata nel 1987 negli Usa da parte di Catalan Communications
