DescriptionTwo of my favorites mixed together:o Take a look around the gallery, Spider-Punk is my favorite character to come out of the Spider-Verse explosion of characters. o Modern-artist-wise, I love Stegman's work, especially on Spidey and Venom - you can feel his McSpidey influence seep through, but with his own cool take. When I saw that he had done a SWEET variant cover for the vol 2 "Arms Race" Spider-Punk series, I was watching the Felix unboxing shows carefully - there it was! Then the wait for the drop began. When Felix announced it, I cleared my schedule, sat at the ready 5 mins before, gigabit inet humming, hit the buttons as fast as I could and waited. Much later that day - boom! I got it! LET's ROCK!! It arrived today and I'm excited to welcome this puppy into the McSpidey vault! Stegman has some fun social posts about this one I'm capturing here for posterity and in alt images in case the links don't persist. Enjoy! Glad to see this with you Scott. I tried, and I thought I was fast......but obviously not fast enough. Beautiful Stegman, and with the added bonus of his own inks over his pencils on the same board. There were so many great Stegman pieces during that drop, but THIS was the best IMO. Congrats.

Recency bias is real, so won't say this is Ryan's all-time best. But it's in his top 5 covers, IMO. Perfect execution. And always special when he inks himself.

So cool to see Stegman's take on Hobie! Fantastic cover and really cool to see Stegman's inks. The Marshall amps and drums in the background are a great bonus too.
