Description

I've enjoyed JRJR's run on ASM, so I've been happy to add some covers to my collection. I saw this one and it caught my eye because I really had wanted a cover with MJ on it, but it also has Spidey in costume but without the mask, and it also shows the menacing shadow of the villain. And I think Hanna did his usual amazing (no pun intended) job on inks, so to me this is a good one that I am delighted to own!

you can really sense the fear on MJ's face and the concern Peter has in protecting her in this image. very nice JRJR Spidey cover!

Spider-Man and the Romita name are forever linked! Hanna has been able to interpret the JRJR linework to perfection for decades knowing by experience where every line should go.

I love the look of worry on Mary Jane's face! The shadow is really cool, too! Looks like it's being cast by Mr. Hyde!
