70s and 80s Zatanna are my favorite Z - especially in this costume. I know it's kind of generic but it's always been my favorite (though the Perez designed costume is great too). No idea why this page got cut from the book but I'm really glad to have it.

The Zatanna/Zatara relationship was always a bit of a mystery to me when I was reading about her adventures off the stands. But it was always unique enough to be interesting.

Dillin was such a quiet for in the JLA and DC at the time. More than just about any artist of the Satellite era, his artwork is the JLA for me.

Won this during a HA auction in early 2024.

Sexy disco era look! The sideburn curls on her are pretty! With so much text on the page, they must have done a story change somewhere.

So her father took control of her, and subconsciously made her change into the new costume with the boob window. Interesting. I can see why DC omitted this page after all.

I now, right? If only they were that aware back then. The backstory on the costume does make me feel a little wrong for liking it so much, though.
