A lovely little piece by Mike Maihack - really love both Thorn's and Fone's expressions here (ok, sure Ted's too) and it really captures how lovestruck Fone Bone is here. Gotta love the little Moby Dick word balloon here as well!

From Scholastic talent to another, Maihack pays tribute to Smith's hit showing Fone spinning his favorite book to keep Thorn's attention waiting on his every word.

Gotta love Fone getting swept up in the moment! Maihack does whimsical as well as anyone working now, and a traditional piece is hard to come by- congrats, my friend!
