DescriptionFrank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns got me back into collecting comic books after a long hiatus.The climax of an older Batman fighting the mutant gang leader in the mud pit had me glued to the page wondering what would happen nextLynn Varley's paint certainly complemented Miller's style and added to the lure of the series. I got this from Mitch Itkowitz ( Graphic Collecitbles) at SDCC 7-8 years ago. size approx 10.5 x 16.25 Social/Sharing |

Sweet Mutant Leader battle page! The Varley greytones and the silhouettes frame the desperation of the fight that Miller put in as Batman is feeling his age.

awesome DKR color plate - memorable scene from classic Miller Batman. also nice job getting it back then before these started commanding a hefty premium, although I'm sure it probably wasn't "cheap" it would be a lot more now. congrats!

Thank you! Yeah I'm happy I got this when I did. This hobby certainly isn't getting cheaper lol
