DescriptionWhile the rest of the story was done by Tim using ink wash, he went with straight inks for this scene between Steve and Nick shortly after Steve came out of the ice.This page is a personal favorite both for Tim's bold use of contrast between the deep blacks and stark whites on the page as well as his use of negative space, especially on the tight shot of Nick's face in the third panel. Tim's depiction of Nick is reminiscent of Steranko's take on the character but very much Tim's own. I didn't pick with page up when Tim's art agent originally had it for sale but jumped on the chance when it came up for sale her on CAF. Social/Sharing |
