DescriptionI have loved Adam Kubert's art since I was a young teen and he was working on Wolverine. I somehow, at one point, managed to snag a DPS page from Wolverine #100 that he did many years ago that I have (unfortunately) since parted with. While I regret getting rid of that page it was appropriate at the time. What I have been on a search for since is one of his Hulk pages. Unfortunately they rarely come up and when they do they have generally been out of my price range.Cue this most recent ComicArt Live event. I wasn't planning on purchasing anything (short on funds, trying to consolidate the collection a bit). Saturday there were some nice pieces but nothing that tempted me enough to break my approach. But low and behold I get an email for my want list Sunday morning about this page about to go up with the Sunday drop at a price that I thought was fair. My plans immediately go out the window as this is one of the few scenarios where I would be willing to do so. I immediately message the seller (the tremendous Dan Tancredi, go check out his gallery) expressing my interest. A few message back and forth and I have this now added to my collection and I could not be happier. Thanks to Dan for making it happen and being so great with everything. Social/Sharing |

i used to own this at one point, its a great little page with some awesome use of shadows. congrats.

What an awesome page and such beautiful, crisp inking. Congrats on the pickup, Anthony! My plans would've went out the window as well had I saw this.

The tank, the army, the facial expressions of the Hulk ... all combine for a perfect Hulk page done expertly by Kubert. Congrats!!!
