Description

Don Perlin Werewolf by Night #41 Story Page 16 Original Art (Marvel, 1976). After Doctor Glitternight explodes, Jack Russell wills himself to transform from werewolf to human as Lt. Northrup witnesses the change. Brother Voodoo also appears on this page created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, trimmed top left corner, tape residue staining on the top/bottom edges, label in the top right corner, blue pencil editorial marks and whiteout corrections, residue staining in the bottom margin from a missing page number paste-up, with light staining and handling wear. In Very Good condition.

Werewolf by Night looks like he's always screaming in pain with such drama playing out! Such a handsome page with the transformation strip across. Marvel horror had a distinct personality aligning more with their creators.

Great top to bottom storytelling and hard to beat a WWBN transformation page, especially as rendered by the late great Perlin. Love the transition in those last 4 panels! Congrats!
