Blue Devil by Mike Allred

Someone posted a question on 'X' (formerly Twitter) asking: "If you could have a creator work on a character they've never worked on before, who would it be and which character?"

It didn't take me long to think of Mike Allred and Blue Devil. I've always been a fan of his art and visual storytelling. You know you're in for a fun read whenever you pick up anything he's touched. Blue Devil was one of my favorite characters growing up — the idea of a Hollywood stuntman magically fused into his costume was just a ridiculously fun concept, and Paris Cullins' art style was like nothing else I'd seen at DC at the time.

Mike Allred's take on Blue Devil is one I can and have been staring at constantly. It's so cool to see one of my favorite artists illustrate one of my favorite characters (in his classic look, too!).
