If you're going to do a book about the Incredible Hercules, who better to draw it than John Romita Jr? Romita has tons of experience drawing larger than life characters like Thor, Captain America and the Avengers. He certainly knows how to draw characters with large chests and even larger egos. So partnered up with Klaus Janson, Romita took on this title. Right off the bat, they did well--I love this cover. You've got Hercules, Snowbird, and a number of less well known gods from the four corners of the earth, and they're calling themselves...wait for it...The God Squad. In this issue, Herc and the God Squad are taking on the Skrull Empire. Wish them luck, cuz they're gonna need it.
