DescriptionThe highlight of Heroes is going to Lee's table and seeing what goodies he has in his portfolios. I was happy to grab this great CM page on day 2 of the show. One of my favorite artists and just the nicest guy.Social/Sharing |

Real nice all hand drawn and crosshatched space field and planet atmosphere layer. Weeks makes it work to make the action more intense in the isolation of outer space.

Awesome pickup, Ken! This looked absoutely beautiful in person, happy you grabbed it. And totally agree, Lee's one of the nicest in the industry - huge fan all around.

That top splashy panel is worth the price of admission! I feel like Weeks and Andy Kubert are in that same vein of making the most of a scene. And they were also both inked by Delperdang at this time :) Congrats!

Fantastic Captain Marvel page by Lee Weeks! What a standout scene with three villains being rounded up by Mar-Vel in outer space! I love that two of the villains are floating upside down while the third is struggling just to breathe. The scene is beautifully composed. I love the heroic pose of Mar-Vel here--his powerful physique is wonderfully drawn. I also love the superb inks by Jess Delperdang. It's awesome the way the villains are lit by the earth down below, which creates a rim light coming around their black suits and that separates them visually from the black of space. Outstanding pick-up!
