The biggest universal troll, the Impossible Man, comes back to the X mansion in New Mutants Annual 3 to f' with the X-men again - but gets the muties! Instead of another scavenger hunt, Warlock & Impy have a morph off to see who's the greatest! I was always a little confused how Warlock won by just changing color, because he changed color into a human earlier in the issue. I love that Alan chose a 'best of' motif for the characters highlighting their shape-changing abilities. 11x17. Picked up at Heroes 2024. Social/Sharing |

Davis is expanding the fight scene to the ridicuous proportions they deserve from these two! You can easily insert this into the book as a splash page!

Absolutely love this!! One can immediately tell Alan had fun with this.
It’s also a bittersweet reminder of comics in the middle of a vast creative era.
