DescriptionThere's a lot of varying opinions about this series which was never completed but there's no denial about the art. Personally I thought it was one of Jim and Scott's best. I love how Jim used shadows to give Batman's maniacal look as he crashes into the police juxtaposed with the fright of the young Grayson. The panel placement adds to the flow of action and tension of the moment. I wish I had more art from this seriesSocial/Sharing |

some really cool shots of the Batmobile throughout and that rain effect is pretty awesome. That first panel perspective from the outside of the car looking in at Batman & Robin through the front windshield is my favorite. Great DPS!

All Stars! We're along for the wild ride with Dick Grayson with the Batmobile whipping around! Maybe one of the last substantial high profile big event Jim Lee / Scott Williams Batman stories with the Frank Miller writing!

I agree with you that "All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder" had some of the best Jim Lee/Scott Williams art ever! This DPS is a perfect example! I love the small opening panels here of a maniacal Batman crashing through police barriers at top speed, mowing down cops, followed by the huge lower splash of the Batmobile practically flying down the lane towards more cop cars. The whole DPS is super frantic and super powerful! Really one of the best splashes in the book! Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!
