DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!15-1/8x22" artboard w/pen and ink original art for Jan. 30, 1972 Sunday page by longtime Archie comics and comic strip artist Bob Montana (1920-1975). Sunday page features total of 13 panels, including title panel w/aged/glue stained title stat paste-over. Story shows Jughead judging Veronica's rich mother as he and Archie prepare for ski strip w/Betty and Veronica. Jughead invites Mrs. Lodge on trip, and to everyone's surprise, she accepts. Page ends w/Mrs. Lodge watching her valet ski from ski lift. Archie appears in seven panels. Jughead appears in five panels. Betty appears in four panels. Veronica appears in three panels. Archie Comic Publications, Inc. copyright strip in tenth panel, KFS distributor strip in thirteenth panel. Some scattered margin notations, but aside from glue staining/aging to first panel, art remains clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
