Description

The bad guys in the helicopter are shooting at our heroes on the ground:

“He’s under cover, dammit! Give me a hand!”

“Wait; I’ll make a turn.”

“Oh, devils! If I could place a ‘treat’ inside the open hatch…”

On the intervening pages, Uriaga takes a bullet, but Mister No destroys the helicopter's rear rotor with a rifle-mounted grenade. The chopper crashes, killing all aboard.

“Uriaga, are you OK?”

“Everything is okay, gringo. You saved my skin.”

“’Everything okay,’ nothing! Your shoulder is messed up! Luckily everything you need for First Aid is in your backpack.”

“Let's hurry, then. With all the noise we've made, the others will be upon us in no time.”

An American comic book would have disposed of this whole sequence on one page. The Italian perspective is that it's an exciting moment, so why not show all the beats in full?
