Description

I placed this incredible Tim and Greg Hildebrandt oil painting in my "Sketches" gallery, but it's obviously about as far removed from a sketch as you can get. In the late-1990s/early 2000s, there was some serious discussion about producing a live-action Fly movie. The Hildebrandt brothers did a few concept paintings for the project, this being one of them. No movie was ever produced, but that in no way lessens the beauty of this dramatic tableau!
