I�ll never turn down a vintage Arthur Adams X-men piece� even of the pre- lim variety.. but this one has a way fun story to go with it! My buddy and artist extraordinaire Eranga D was having some fun finding abandoned pre lims by artists he likes and then doing his interpretation of what it would have looked like had they finished.. so he actually found this one online and it was attributed to Walter Simonson.. so it made sense for Uncanny 217 and as unfinished as it was it looked like it could have been Walt� so he did what he does (see additional image) posts it.. I see it buy it .. I post it.. all fun. Well the owner of the prelim sees it and reaches out to both of us to let us know it is actually Arthur Adams and for 218 (which makes MORE sense if you know the issue) - so boom great we now know! But I say hey it would be cool to get them together.. he agrees and sells me the piece! So now I have a great AA Pre-Lim and a great ED finished version! So thank you Anthony and Eranga!

Super cool and super interesting. Although it makes me wonder why Arthur deviated from this prelim and took Juggy out of the published cover.

Fun story. I had a half hearted goal of completing the interiors for it but only got to 3 pages lol.
