DescriptionSometimes you walk by a piece of art and just can't resist... That seems to happen with me and Colleen's art. Never read a Conan book, but I saw this at Heroes and here we are. Saving the uncensored version for a variant cover ?? Unfortunate that we're distracted from that great work on the title character.

This is a great piece that shows the evolution of Colleen Doran's skills. From Wandering Star to this painted masterwork is around 30 years in the making with her storytelling being top notch throughout.

It's a beauty and called home to the right owner, maybe you'll even check out this book just so you know the context to what you see. Art potentially selling more books?

A painted piece by Colleen is a true thing of beauty. This piece brings together a traditional Conan with elements of her long running space Opera, A DIstant Soil, and the result is spectacular! The cold practically rushes through the image to shock the mind and stimulate the nipples!!!

Beautiful. I love all the swirls within the composition and her depiction of blood reminds of BWS' (Red Nails period).
