Description11 x 17Maybe start slowly sharing this story to celebrate DWJ's recognition at the Eisner's for Best Writer/Artist as well as Best Continuing Series for Transformers. I think DWJ is the best contemporary "mainstream" comics writer/artist. His books have everything a comics fan of any age can get an amazing reading experience from. With that said, personally, Do A Powerbomb is his greatest work to date. Just an incredibly soulful book that brings it to you in an action packed package. So much compelling character building, incredible twists and turns in plot, and totally sticking the landing. Really the perfect comic. I was looking at a complete issue as it was coming out. I wanted one that not only had action but had the heart of a DWJ comic. Probably some of the issues ahead of this may have been better buys for the sheer action pages but I was happy to wait and this issue came out. It had everything I wanted. My favorite character from the series, Yua Steelrose, played a big role in the issue after having appeared in the very beginning of the opener. The action was spectacular while the entire family relationship was fleshed out beautifully. It also had a top 2 page in the entire series for me which I'll share later. The cover really speaks to the torment and emotions that Cobra Sun experienced over the course of the series. So ominous, and as a reader it calls to you to check out what's happening in this book. Totally thrilled and grateful to have this story. Social/Sharing |

KILLER cover from an awesome series from one of the powerhouses of modern comics. Congrats on the issue man!
