DescriptionThis is Tom Reilly's explosive cover art for The Thing issue 1 featuring Ben Grimm breaking through like the Kool-aid Man and coming right off the page at the reader. This 6 issue arc tugged at my fanboy heartstrings from Walter Mosley's fun filled story to Reilly's action packed artwork. It made me a fan of both creators and a bigger fan of The Thing. This art was used for: - Issue 1 cover - Spanish cover - Italian cover - Trade Paperback cover - Trade Paperback title page - Image in articles and promo for the series Social/Sharing |

Thing breaking through the wall at the reader makes for an awesome image which makes it no surprise it was used so many times. Great multi-use pickup, congrats George!

I'll need to read this. I love Moseley's detective novels.

Your Tom Reilly collection has definitely made me go and check out his work on The Thing. It is wonderful. No exception here, as the perspective gives way to high energy and great detail. Kool-Aid Man is spot on lol. Can you imagine Thing vs. Kool Aid Man? Definitely wouldn't last long but would be way more entertaining than Tyson vs. Paul :)
