Description

Luckily met Carlos a few years back at SDCC, he signed the two collected "The Life and Death of Johnny Alpha" 2000 AD volumes I bought, and what a read it was after, especially with no prior knowledge.

Reading Johnny's death back in the day, like many, I was disappointed, also as Carlos did not draw it, for which he had good reasons. This story rights that wrong wonderfully, I assume many agree. Fantastic read if you've been away from it since then.

Pleased to acquire this modest piece, from the sequence of Johnny coming back. Wonderfully presented by the seller, with a print of the page and a bio on Carlos.

Looks great with how Ezquerra takes influence from Moebius for some of the sci-fi fantasy costume design! The facial expressions are top notch as this has even more nuance than the published art!
