DescriptionThe actual cover that was used for Hardware 25, crazy cover with how armored up Hardware is looking intimidating with the chain and weapons. Also love the background to Hardware where it's present with multiple softer colors but only meant to put emphasis on Hardware. The published cover definitely did not do justice to the original art. These original colors were used on for the poster used to promote the Hardware comic, it appears they enhanced them digitally on the comic itself.Social/Sharing |

This is absolutely stunning - especially when you see the detail on the original vs the what was cropped out or covered up with trade dress on the printed book. Hardware was such a cool character, congrats on a great cover from the original creator of the character. Love Denys' work.

So good with inks under and above the colors so there'd be lines softened for depth and tight detail for focus! This is one of the more iconic covers with a definitive look at Hardware for the special 25th issue!

Great artwork! Had a chance to see some of Hake's offerings at SDCC. They brought a few Cowans. Wish they had brought some of Noelle's work, would've great to see in person.

I was only at SDCC for 2 days this year so didn't have time to check out Hakes in person but not surprised, seems like people concentrate more on pencils over the painted work and colors.
