Gambit’s first solo miniseries delved into the history of the mysterious mutant and his connection to the Thieves and Assassins Guilds. Combine that with the embossed cardstock covers and superb art by Lee Weeks, Klaus Janson, and Steve Buccellato, what self-professed X-Men fan didn’t pick this one up back in the day?

Buccellato chooses his colors well across the four issues to really complement Weeks/Janson’s style and settings.
