From 1991, I believe this page is the oldest piece of art I have in my collection so far. It's from a really fun side story that features Fire and Ice going up against Captain Cold and Heatwave, who after discussing how bored they are with their mundane civilian lives, decide to pick up their guns and do a robbery for old times sake. Fire and Ice stumble upon the robbery while out doing some shopping, and Fire decides they must intervene (expecting a reward in return) so she asks Ice to use her powers to block off their exit, but Ice more than excels at the task and blocks off the exit by creating a glacier so large it also blocks off most of the street. The local police come by to chastise Fire and Ice for their shenanigans, and while Fire is trying to explain that they're heroes who are trying to help stop a robbery, she's informed that the jewelry store has a back exit and flies off to chase the villains. I love the expressions on this page!
