80s Avengers Defenders - Fred Hembeck sketch cards (4)

Fred was kind enough to do these for me in 2018. These are 4 sketch cards (2.5 x 3.5) each with a famous Avengers/Defenders duo. Not sure why I've always been so drawn to these superhero friendships/sibling/mentor relationships but I was thrilled to get a set of 16 of these from Fred back when he was still taking commissions.

Power Man/Iron Fist (a little bit of a stretch on the Defenders theme but could leave these guys out)
Hellcat/Valkyrie
Ms Marvel/Jocasta (not sure these two were pals in the same way as the others but they certainly both went through similar dramatic storylines during this era)
Wonder Man/Beast (one of the best duos of all time)
