Martin Mystère #409 (2024) p 74-75: Attacked in the snow

Thanks to a blocked road, our heroes abandon their vehicle and trudge up the snowy mountain:

“The Bavarian Alps of Berchtesgaden. Today.”

“Devils in hell! Someone is sabotaging us.”

“Be careful. They might be watching us even now.”

“Maybe it would be better to go back and ask for help.”

(Captain Steiner) “What for? I can protect you and call my men any time. Am I wrong or is that not why you invited me? I am curious to see that dossier as well.”

“Renate, if you want, you can turn back and leave us here.”

“Are you kidding? How would you go on without me? Come on, it’s not much farther.”

“Mghrr...rgh?”

“I'm fine, Java. Even though the wind is really strong.”

“Ah!”

“Renate! What happened to you?”

“I just tripped, don't worry.”

“I'll give you a hand.”

“Hey, but... where did Steiner go?”

“Rghrr!”

“Captain!”

“Look over there... I see something!”

“Devil in Hell! I-it's not possible...”

Renate and Martin brought along Interpol agent Steiner to protect them in case they ran into trouble, but Steiner is the first to fall when they are ambushed. He shows poor trigger discipline in the third panel.
