Description

The discussion about Prince Rudolf's mystery maid continues:

“The only person I think I recognized in the photo was Johann Loschek, Prince Rudolf's personal butler. This one dates back to the last years of the Crown Prince. It was Loschek who found his body, along with that of Baroness Mary Vetsera.”

“And the woman in the enlargement?”

“As I said, she looked familiar to me. Look at this other image. What do you think? Could it be?”

“Uh, it does look like her. But who is she?”

“Her name was Klara Polzl… and she was Adolf Hitler's mother.”

“But why would she have been in Mayerling?”

“For work, presumably. She was a maid. She had met the man who would later become her husband, Alois Hitler, when she went to work for him as a maid. At the time she was just sixteen years old. However, apart from the photo we found, there is no evidence that Klara ever served in Mayerling or that she ever went there.”

“Hmm... That might explain why Hitler kept those documents, but why guard them so jealously?”

“That's what I'm wondering too.”

“In any case, we're at a standstill.”

“Not entirely. We still have the Russian lead.”

More pieces are coming together and the grid like structure of these pages with the grid like windows reflect their logical progression.
