DescriptionA real shame the series was plagued by delays - but the run, a take on Whedon's Slayer mythology that started with Buffy - was a fun read.Joss Whedon brings his vision of the future in this unique tale set in Manhattan, where the city has has become a deadly slum, run by mutant crime-lords and disinterested cops. Stuck in the middle is a young girl who learns she has a great destiny -- to unite a fallen city against a demonic plot to consume mankind. Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, continues his vision of a future Slayer in Fray #7. One of the fiercest battles in the history of comics, drawn in grand style by Karl Moline and Andy Owens, begins its climax in Dark Horse's runaway hit. So what do we have left for next issue? It just gets worse for this inexperienced young Slayer. Social/Sharing |

A fun cover from a great series indeed. Moline's art really shined.

I always thought Moline was deserving of greater recognition and bigger things. He kicked butt on Fray and I loved his style, reminscent of the Gaijin Studios school. This is a truly might example. Congrats!

Loved Moline's work on Fray, and this is a great example of how he made action scenes exciting. Congrats!
