DescriptionIberia Radio SA nace en 1940 en unas naves de la calle Pujadas 112-118 (Pueblo Nuevo, Barcelona) para fabricar radios de buena calidad y acabado.Destacó el modelo Iberia 4153 conocido como el "Platillo Volante" por su diseño futurista. Aumentó su oferta con amplificadores, tocadiscos, magnetófonos y radio-gramolas y lanza una nueva división Iberia Radio y Televisión a modo de marca blanca a pesar de la feroz competencia. Presentó 57 patentes que incorporó a sus productos. En 1971 un pavoroso y sospechoso incendio destruyó la fábrica (desde 1962 sufrió ocho). La construcción de una nueva en Cervera (Lérida) albergaría la mayor parte de la mano de obra lo que provocó conflictos laborales que abogarían al cierre en 1974. Social/Sharing |

Very nice cartooning of the golden age of television showing how it brought family viewing together much like the radio before. The gag is great as sports became screen worthy events that still rule the medium.
