Great earlier work by Risso that is hardly ever seen in the US. It has all the fundamental crime noir elements to amp up the intense atmosphere. Even a nice femme fatale to round out the page!

Nice page! Really great patterns in this. Interesting to see Risso's earlier style. He varies the "camera" tilt a bit from one palel to the next and he crops the faces a lot, but doesn't zoom out but for one panel; the panels are a regular 2x4 grid, which differs from his current look. The faces and inking remind me a bit of Kyle Baker. Thanks for posting!
