At this stage of his career, Infantino's pencils benefited from stronger inker. Dennis Jensen was one of those and so too was Pérez. I remember really liking this art combo, even if it was only for a few pages.

Pretty fun as this genre was what made Infantino and the early silver age fun and successful! Perez updates the look of aliens and spaceships for the 80's. This was the final story in the last issue of the series, so DC wanted to honor him in this way.

This is a beautiful combination of the old, Silver Age master and the (at the time) contemporary, "top tier" superstar artist providing the strong and stylized finishes. You can still see both the classic Infantino pencilling style as well as Pérez's classic rendering style.
